Startrails from Ágasvár

Startrails from Ágasvár

Description

I wanted to make a photo that is full of life and that captures us beneath the sky at Ágasvár. Unfortunately cirrus clouds came in towards the end. And the batteries could have lasted a little longer as well. The red lights can be attributed to (from left to right): Iván, me, Bandi, Csukó.

Technical data:

  • Date: 2013. 10. 04.
  • Lens: Sigma 10-20 mm
  • Camera: Canon EOS 450D (not modified)
  • Exposure: 46x5 minutes ISO: 800

You can see the Orion rising in the picture: the three stars of the Orion's belt are visible above the rightmost telescope. The brightest celestial body is Jupiter in the picture. The dashed line above it is due to two stars of different magnitude and very similar declination that tricked the processing software.

More startrails from Ágasvár

As I got in the mood, I made a couple of other startrail images from Ágasvár while I was drawing by the telescope. And you can see one of my first tries below as well.
