Description

M 81-82 inverted drawing
M 81-82 inverted drawing

It took almost 8 years to finish this poor drawing. There cannot be seen too much with such a small telescope and small enlargement. M 81 has a bright core and two stars can be seen superimposed on its fairly detailless surface. The inner parts of M 82 are clearly inhomogenious. NGC 3077 is a tiny faint detailless spot. NGC 2976 is faint as well and very diffuse. It's a coreless galaxy in the middle of an empty section in the field. And still if you look at it as a whole, this field well deserves the attention.
