The Siamese twins are a very interesting interacting pair of galaxies. To my surprise some detail can be seen in the system: besides the tiny faint stellar core of NGC 4567 its gentle spiral structure can be observed as well. NGC 4568 shows a little less detail. Both components are basically bright and diffuse. A third galaxy, NGC 4564 can be seen in the field. This galaxy is pretty bright as well. But in contrast to the Siamese twins it gets very suddenly brighter towards its core.
