I didn't have any information on NGC 3195, the planetary nebula in Chamaeleon. I was greeted by a small and pretty bright ring shaped nebula in the eyepiece. Two opposing sides of the ring are "open" (up and down on the drawing). Here the fainter peripheries of the nebula are slightly more extended making the nebula more oval. The inside of the perfeclty round bright ring is not dark either. There are two brighter sections in the ring (where the ring is not "open").
Taking a look at the photos (well after the observation) I can see a much more complex geometry. This is probably a bipolar nebula that we see from close to its axis. I could not see the central star.

You can see the Hubble (Hubble Space Telescope, HST) photo of NGC 3195 on the left made with the WFPC2 camera along with my inverted, rotated and cropped drawing. I checked the orientation from other photos so I could match mine to the Hubble photo. The spots visible in the drawing are only the caused by the unevenness of the paper. They are not intentional details.
After the observation I read that NGC 3195 is described as having a Dumbbell shape like M 27. I saw it more ring-like.
